doug mcclung

The year after I graduated high school I enlisted into the United States Army as an Airborne Infantryman. My first duty station was Caserma Del Din, located in Vicenza, Italy. For three years I trained in the brutal conditions of South Eastern Germany, conducting small and large scale training operations both with U.S. forces and NATO allies. In December of 2021 I PCS’d to Fort Bragg, North Carolina where I deployed to Poland in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. For 4 months we conducted several training operations as well as humanitarian aid to refugees. I honorably separated from the U.S. Army in June of 2023 where I met my good friend and business partner Thomas Regenold at a travel job in Indiana. Once spring of 2024 hit Tom and I dove into building Great Lakes Authority LLC. Shortly after we got the company off the ground and began networking in pursuit of larger projects we had the amazing honor and privilege to serve on the board for Charlie Golf One. This decision was “a no brainer” for us. I look forward to continuing a life of service and the impact that Charlie Golf One will have in our veteran community.
